The purpose of CORESS is to promote safety in surgical practice, both within the NHS and in the independent sector. CORESS is an educational service entirely owned and operated by the professional bodies of UK and Irish surgery.
We aim to serve all surgical disciplines by:
- Analysing safety-related reports which would not otherwise be available.
- At all times keeping the identity of the reporter confidential.
- Publishing ‘Lessons learned’ feedback commentary in the surgical literature.
